Analog Connections

What does Analog Connections mean to me? I chose this name instinctively without knowing much about the word, analog. But, I had a gut feeling of what it might mean.  Like, a more simple/basic form of technology, right?  I went down a google rabbit hole to figure out what the hell this word means in order to justify using this metaphor for my mission here.  Turns out that analog signals and connections are the basis for digital technology; they sometimes work together but have different qualities.  Analog as understood in contrast to Digital .  Analog is infinite , Digital is finite . The Analog signal is smooth and continuous , the Digital signal is a square wave . Analog connections are more difficult to execute , Digital circuits are easier to design . Analog is less expensive to design, while Digital comes at a greater financial cost . Analog is more susceptible to noise/error , Digital is more consistent and reliable .
